We are seeking continuing education approval for all the symposium sessions over the three-day event from all the continuing education professions below. While we are requesting approval, these submissions are not a guarantee that each session will be approved by the governing board.

- Athletic trainer (AT) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with Athletic Trainers Section of the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board
- Attorney, judge, and legal professional (CLE) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with Supreme Court of Ohio
- Certified case manager (CCM) -All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours approval with Commission for Case Management Certification
- Certified disability management specialist (CDMS) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with Certified Disability Management Specialists Commission
- Certified health education specialist (CHES, MCHES - NCHEC) - Application for CHES® (entry-level) / MCHES® (advanced-level) Category I continuing education contact hours (CECH) has been made to the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC).
- Certified medical assistant (CMA-AAMA) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with American Association of Medical Assistants
- Certified professional coder (CPC) -All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with American Association of Professional Coders also download the Attendee Code Card
- Certified public accountant (CPA) - MHS meets NASBA standards for CPE
- Certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification
- Chemical dependency counselor (CDC) - 12 sessions approved up to 12 hours with Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board
- Chiropractor (DC) - Pending approval with Ohio State Chiropractic Board
- Dentist (DDS and DMD) - AGD has approved BWC for approved program provider status
- Dental hygienist (RDH) - AGD has approved BWC for approved program provider status
- Health Information Management (AHIMA) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with American Health Information Management Association
- Licensed professional counselor (LPC, LPCC) - Ohio council social worker, marriage family therapist shall consider MHS approved provided the subject matter is relevant to the professions license 4757-9-05
- Licensed social worker (LSW, LISW) -Ohio council social worker, marriage family therapist shall consider MHS approved provided the subject matter is relevant to the professions license 4757-9-05
- Marriage & family therapist (MFT) -Ohio council social worker, marriage family therapist shall consider MHS approved provided the subject matter is relevant to the professions license 4757-9-05
- Nurse (APRN, LPN, and RN) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 contact hours with American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation
- Occupational therapist (OT) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with Occupational Therapy Section of the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board
- Occupational therapy assistant (OTA) -All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with Occupational Therapy Section of the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board
- Ocularist, Optician, Optometrist (OD) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with Vision Professionals Board
- Paramedic, AEMT, EMT, EMR - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with GPHEC and Paramedic Network
- Pharmacist (ACPE) - Pending approval Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
- Physical therapist (PT) - All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with the Ohio Physical Therapy Association
- Physical therapy assistant (PTA) -All sessions approved up to 13.5 hours with the Ohio Physical Therapy Association
- Physician – D.O., DPM, M.D., and PA (CME) - 11 sessions approved up to 11 hours with Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education with 1 session (1401) pending approval
- Psychologist (OPA-MCE) - Pending approval with Ohio Psychological Association
How to receive a Certificate of Attendance?
- Arrive at each session on time. Sessions open fifteen minutes prior to session begin time.
- Attend the session, including question & answer portion.
- Complete a Session Survey for each session attended.
- Complete the Overall Evaluation.
- Download Certificate of Attendance from the site.
- Full continuing education details will be included in each session and available for downloading.
Conflict of Interest
Some session presenters may have a declared or perceived conflict of interest due to their commercial involvement with the subject matter they present. The presenters have taken measures to ensure their presentations are free of commercial influence and bias or partiality toward a specific product or service from which the presenter or his/her employer could financially benefit.
