The Ohio Industrial Commission is the adjudicatory branch of the Ohio Workers' Compensation System. The Commission is responsible for providing a forum for fair and impartial claims resolution, conducting hearings on disputed claims and issues, adjudicating claims involving Employers' violations of specific safety requirements and determining eligibility for Permanent Total Disability benefits. The Commission schedules independent medical examinations and medical file reviews to assist in the consideration of Permanent Total Disability.

Our mission: Serve injured workers and Ohio employers through expeditious and impartial resolution of issues arising from workers' compensation claims and through the establishment of adjudication policy.
