Jaclyn Caccese, Ph.D., FACSM Dr. Jaclyn B. Caccese is an Assistant Professor in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and an internationally recognized expert in concussion. Her research focuses on the short- and long-term effects of concussion and repetitive head impacts in both athletic and occupational settings, including health-care workers and first responders. Dr. Caccese has led multiple federally funded studies and developed the nation’s first return-to-duty protocol specific to law enforcement officers following concussion. With a background in biomechanics and motor control, she integrates clinical research with real-world application to improve concussion recognition, recovery, and return-to-work outcomes. Dr. Caccese also collaborates closely with neurologists, occupational medicine providers, and affected workers to ensure multidisciplinary, patient-centered approaches to care.
